(CS-121) Verrucae Carcinoma of the Foot: A Case Study

Introduction: Verrucae carcinoma of the foot, is a rare, low-grade, malignant tumor originating from a pre-existing verruca. This patient underwent excision of wart with local wound care and an application of split thickness skin graft.
Methods: Biopsy of lesion, excision of the mass, local wound care for several weeks until wound bed was ready for a split thickness skin graft.
Results: Mass resulted as well- differentiated verrucous carcinoma with clear margins
Discussion: To biopsy suspicious lesions and work with other specialties when needed
